Under the guidance of Sonja Schenkel and Eva-Maria Spreitzer, futuring[1] methods were used to enable an imaginary journey into new worlds and dimensions. The workshop focused on the question How can university catering be designed to meet current sustainability requirements and at the same time serve as inspiration and space for new relationships with food, nutrition and hospitality as a social practice of transformation?
Part of the workshop was a sculpture that was subsequently at the “Luminous Reveries” exhibition at Travencore Palace in Delhi (Gallery Dotwalk/ Curated by Premjish Achari)

Tree of Life. a tribute to seeds. 2023
Naturally dyed wool, cotton, hemp, birch tree wood, 130cm x 80cm x 80cm
„Three of Life. a tribute to seeds“ was conceived as part of an exploration on how Universities can offer food to hundreds of students in a sustainable and healthy way. The question of how a good education is based on good food drew a close connection between nourishing and nurturing. Education seeds the future. And this very future takes its energy from actual seeds and the care given to them.
