Digital Storyteller Project
Between the year 2018 and 2020, we embarked on a journey in training researcher and their partners in documenting their work through video.
“We” consisted of a partnership with over 50 researchers in 26 countries, who were a supported by a team collaborating between Switzerland, Portugal, Bolivia and eventually Benin. As the project designer and lead of the Digital Storytellers Project, I felt it most rewarding to engage in such complex collaboration between different mind-sets. The best part, as in most film productions, however, was to create friendship and a deeper understanding of culture. In those years “pre-Covid”, it also prepared us to write, produce and edit across continents without flying any mile. Some of the published clips can be seen on www.k4d.ch
